Background of KOPINDO

KOPINDO (the Indonesian Youth Cooperative) Established in


Malang - East Java since June 11th 1981. As legal entity with
Law Firm No. 8286/2nd July 1981.
Members of KOPINDO consist of primary cooperative are :
1. Student Cooperative (KOPMA) :
2. Islamic Boarding School Co-op (Kopontren) :
3. Youth Cooperative in Society (KOPEDA)
All of members which spread in Indonesia countrywide.

Purpose of KOPINDO
1.

Developing members prosperity in order to support and


expanding member's business optimally as one of effort
to building and create equitable and wealth society
based on national philosophy (Pancasila).

2.

Increasing responsibility and participation from young


generation by raising comprehension and members
participation optimally as one of effort to build and
create cooperative as 'sokoguru', something essential in
national economic endeavor, which furthermore become
substance moving spirit system of cooperative
development future in Indonesia.

VISION AND MISSION


VISION
Create KOPINDO as cadre cooperative and cooperative cadre which
appropriate with cooperative character.
MISION
1. Perpetrate establishment and developing of human resource for
member and society by means of education activity and training,
upgrading, discussion and seminar, workshop, research both domestic
and overseas, specific education and apprentice for it members in
order to human investment

2. Implement activity service effort for its members in upgrading


capacity and network by member or giving opportunity to do exertion
for developing of KOPINDO.
3. Implement effort which don't do by the members by effort activities
in construction sector, trade, travel, consultation, distribution and
proction or other related services can be access by members

GENERAL ASSEMBLY
is the highest meeting level in organization which held once a year, by
means of Meeting, members, management, and overseers/supervisors
who recruited and stopped. Also development effort report evaluated and
Organization Programs list.

BOARD of DIRECTORS
elected in General Assembly for three years period. As one entrusted with
a mandate, BoD have duty and responsibility in increase the capability and
quality KOPINDO as business institute or as cadre organization.

SUPERVISOR,
elected and legitimated in General Assembly for three years period with
duty and responsibility to execute surveillance and investigation toward
organization wheel movement and exertion.
