Quantity is important: The more the number
of ideas, the better the chances of finding
solutions.
Combine and Improve on ideas within the
group.

Brainstorm for Five minutes

Write your potential ideas or
answers to the guiding
question.
Write each of your
ideas/answers on an individual
sticky note.
You may use more than one
sticky note if possible.

Categorize at your table

Each table is responsible for categorizing your
own sticky notes in 3 4 groups (NOT MORE!)
Process: One person at each table, please put
out one of your ideas. The rest of them at a
table, please add one of your ideas that fits
that category. Each person can then repeat
that at the table.
Do this until you have exhausted all the ideas.
