Writing this up
We use the PEA structure:
Point This is your argument, a statement of what
you think.
Evidence This is a quote from the text that
justifies your idea.
Analysis This is where you explain WHAT that
quote shows that JUSTIFIES your idea.
Extension Select a word from your quote to look
at deeper.

Structure
Point Shakespeare presents romance as easily
changeable.
Evidence Lysander tells Helena Who will not change a
raven for a dove?
Analysis This suggests that romance is easily changeable
as Lysander easily changes his love for Hermia to Helena
with the love juice which suggests his love may not be
true in the first place.
Extension Also using the opposite birds of raven and
dove suggests how quickly love can change.
Use the bullet points for your first practice. You will be
writing two-three more paragraphs.
