Metro is a municipality refion located
relatively in the center of Lampung
Province, Southern part of Sumatera
Island, is about 45 km far from
Bandar Lampung (the capital of
Lampung Province) ;
Metro is the relatively new municipality
region, born in 27 April 1999,

There is no mountain and hills, beach and shore, sea,

There is no big industrial sectors, such as: mining,
explorations, drilling, factory, etc.
Daily average waste generation : 311 m3
Daily average transported waste into waste disposal land: 186
m3

Annualy average managed waste by 3R method: 3750 m3

Annualy average of land overfunction: 2-3%

change;
These performance supports the target on decreasing of greenhouse gas effect
and enhancing public endurance on climate change;
The principles are: the better quality of life, the better effiency and the better
