An adverb clause
An adverb clause functions as an adverb,
modifying a verb, adjective, or adverb. It tells how,
when, where, to what degree, why, or under what
condition. It is introduced and connected to the
independent clause by one of the following subordinate
conjunctions.
1. An adverb clause telling Place: [where?]
- Conjunctions: where, wherever.
Examples:
- We went where the land was fertile.
- Wherever I live, I wont forget you.
- He can go wherever he wants.
- Now I live where my grandparents lived.
