NGAJAT DANCE

CUSTOM AFTER BIRTH


Ceremony was held at the age of one

These elders, alongside the Tuai Burong;
the religious leaders who are sometimes
the Tuai Rumah themselves, are responsible
for enforcing the adat rules surrounding
funerals and mourning taboos.
No house may claim to be inferior to, or
superior over any other rumah.
