INTELLECTUAL ASPECTS
• Producing students with three basic skills, 3R (reading, writing
and arithmetic)

•NPE revolves around forming students with interest in developing


true knowledge.

•Aiming to train the students to have creative, critical and reflective


thinking skills.

•NPE aimed to generate students that are willing to contribute their


knowledge with others and the environment.

•Equipped students with adequate ability and knowledge to suit


with the globalised world and development.
THE IMPORTANCE OF NPE IN SPIRITUAL
AND EMOTIONAL ASPECTS

•Belief and obedience to God and producing Malaysians with good


characters.

•NPE is vital in making the students aware of and believe in God.

•Be thankful in everything that they own and for the God’s gifts.

•Have excellent moral values that can be implemented in the student’s daily
life.

•Responsible students that are not egocentric, helping others with problems.
EMOTIONAL ASPECTS
•NPE focuses in training the emotional aspects of students to ensure the
mature and stable emotional intelligence posses by them.

•Emotional aspects is vital in NPE is it will produce a generation with the


feeling of love, togetherness, unity.

•This will prepare the students in facing the real world with lots of
challenges and problems.

•To help students cope with the surroundings of different ethnicity.

•To help students manage their emotion well when they face difficulties in
life.
THE IMPORTANCE OF NPE IN PHYSICAL
ASPECTS
•Producing students not only competent in knowledge and excel in study but
also attentive towards the needs of good health.

•NPE aims to create students with ability in developing social talents and skills.

•To ensure the balance in students through the physical aspect because with a
healthy body comes a healthy mind.

•NPE is used to build a generation which uses physical fitness skills for the
benefit of the society.

•Students with excellent physical fitness skills can be developed in their own
expertise to improve on our country’s success.
Developing potential
• It is human nature, in which humans are born with talent, ability and
potential.

• The NPE focuses on how to develop the inborn potentials and


talents within the students.

• It helps teachers to observe and start a great impetus to the


students’ potentials.
• Potential can also be developed through communication. It happens
where 2- ways of communication occurs. For eg; discussion
between students and teacher in a classroom.

• Knowledge also helps students to develop their potentials. They


may learn many things and try to apply or make it real.

For eg; an innovative student can be even creative by reading more


on invention and technology books.
Overall and Integrated potential
• Integrated means the combination of two or more things in
order to become more effective.

• Producing an individual who has skills cohesion.

• The students know how to relate and manipulate things


productively ( in subject or between subjects).
• Students who have various knowledge areas.
For eg ; Each student knows how to use IT, basic knowledge of science
and social studies.

• Each students is good in both curriculum and co-curriculum. For eg;


Excellent academically and doing well in sports.

• In brief, a student has to embrace those 4 aspects of development in


becoming a competent individual.
Harmonious individual
• Harmonious means that individual has tolerance in dealing
with society and always views things positively.

• Harmonious person could face any problems in life since he


has the goodness and balance in him.

• He solves problems based on the 4 important aspects


(intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical)
