Verbs to mention sports: PLAY - GO
Question Words
We use question words to ask certain
types of questions. They are always at the
beginning of a question.

Simple Present
The Simple Present expresses the idea that an
action is repeated or usual. The action can be a
habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or
something that often happens. It can also be
something a person often forgets or usually does
not do.
2. For facts.
The President of The USA lives in The White
House.
We come from Santiago.
3. For habits.
I get up at 7.30 AM
They travel to Argentina every day.

Sports and routines can be described using the simple Present.
Depending on the sport, we use the verbs play or go.
We use play with ball sports or competitive games when one team plays
against other.
Examples:
- They play soccer and go running.
- My friends and I usually play baseball on weekends.
My children always go swimming.
