providers operating together in a large and unregulated network.
The Indian healthcare sector was valued at (US $88.7) billion
compared to US $78.6 billion in 2012
The CAGR is expected to grow around 10.5-12%
According to data released by the Department of Industrial
Policy and Promotion (DIPP), hospital and diagnostic centres
attracted foreign direct investment (FDI) worth Rs 11,272.32
crore (US$ 1.87 billion) between April 2000 and February 2014.
The healthcare business is projected to grow to $155 billion in
2017Indias healthcare industry is currently worth Rs 73,000
crore which is roughly 4 percent of the GDP.
