Today we are going to see the


Perfect continuous in the following
forms:
(Hoy vamos a ver el tiempo perfecto continuo en las
siguientes formas.)

1)

Active Form where the action is described.


Forma activa que muestra la accin.

2)

Passive Form which describes the action.


Forma pasiva que describe la accin.

We will see, when to use and how to use both the


Active form and the Passive form in the
Perfect continuous tense.
Vamos a ver, cuando se utiliza y cmo utilizar tanto la forma
activa y la voz pasiva en el tiempo perfecto
continuo.

Now the uses of the Present Perfect Continuous tense in the Passive form is
exactly the same as we saw in the previous classes of the Active form.
Ahora , los usos del tiempo en forma del presente perfecto continuo en la forma
pasiva es exactamente lo mismo que hemos visto en las clases anteriores de la
forma activa.
The difference is not the use but how is the sentence structured .
La diferencia no es el uso sino cmo se estructura la oracin.

Present Perfect Continuous in Active and Passive form.


Presente perfecto continuo en forma activa y pasiva

Active Form
In active sentences, the thing
doing the action is the subject of
the sentence and the thing
receiving the action is the
object.
[Who / Thing doing action] +
[verb has / have] + [Been] +
[Verb + ing} + [thing receiving
action]

Forma Activa
En oraciones activas, lo que hace la accin
es el sujeto de la oracin y lo que recibe la
accin es el objeto.
[Quien hace la accin] + [verbo has / have] +
[been] + [verb + ing] + [Quien recibe la
accin]

Passive Form
In passive sentences, the thing
receiving the action is the
subject of the sentence and the
thing doing the action is
optionally included near the
end of the sentence. You can
use the passive form if you
think that the thing receiving
the action is more important or
should be emphasized. You can
also use the passive form if you
do not know who is doing the
action or if you do not want to
mention who is doing the
action.

+ [past participle of verb] +

Forma Pasiva
En oraciones pasivas, lo que recibe la
accin es el sujeto de la oracin y quien
hace la accin se incluye opcionalmente
cerca del final de la frase. Puede utilizar la
forma pasiva si usted piensa que lo que
recibe la accin es ms importante o deben
ser resaltados. Tambin puede utilizar la
forma pasiva si usted no sabe quin est
haciendo la accin o si no quieres hablar
de quin est haciendo la accin.

[been] + [being] + [participio pasado del
verbo] + [por] + Quien o que hace la accin

Following are the 2 uses the Present Perfect Continuous tense


and these uses can be used for Active and Passive form.

USE 1 Duration From the Past Until Now.

USE 2 Recently, Lately

NOTE: Present Perfect Continuous is less commonly used in


its passive form.

how to structure the present, past, and
future in the Perfect Continuous tense in
