Guidelines

Presentation Overview
Your presentation should be designed to give our
class an overview of a variety of different facets
of Information Systems contained in the
Research Papers / Case Studies
The presentation materials should come directly
from your research paper / case study.
There will be at least one question in the mid
term & final exam relating to the presentations.

Presentation Format
Choose a visually appealing design template appropriate
for projection. Careful with font size should not have any
bullets with font size < 20 point.
Part of your grade is based on the visual appeal of your
presentation try to make it interesting graphics, photos,
etc.
Each slide should have a footer with the following
information:
Left Date
Center <Name of Research Paper / Enterprise>
Presentation
Right Page Number

Presentation Flow
Introduction
Tell them what you are going to tell them
Body
Content
Conclusion
Recap
Ask for questions
Your presentation should be 14 15 minutes in
length. It should not exceed 15 minutes. This
may affect your marks
You should rehearse to check your timing.

Address the whole room (avoid bias)
Brief Eye Contact with audience members

Process
Send me your presentation on the scheduled
date and I will put it on the fileserver.
Please name your file appropriately so that it
can be easily identified. I expect names like
A5-AMIS.ppt, A19-CMIS.ppt, B1-BMIS.ppt
Please follow this convention.
If you cant get the presentation to me prior to
class, please ensure you have it on a pen
drive. This will be considered late submission
but will at least not get you a ZERO.
