History
Started in 1993.
Initially started with 3 children
Two separate projects evolved:

Vaidehi Kishori Vikasa yojana


(development project for adolescent girls)
Vaidehi Mahila Vikasa Yojana
(Empowerment project for women).

Each project has separate constituted Executive body.


Recognized by the Women and Child welfare Department. Govt of Telangana

Vaidehi Ashramam
(Home for Destitute Girls)

Adopts a girl child of Age 5-9 years.

No parent or single parent girl child.

Bring them up in a vey congenial atmosphere.

Provides them with motherly love and fatherly


care.

Gives them proper education and health.

Empowerment & Life skills.

Karate, Martial arts and yoga are regularly


practiced.

Children supported for self reliance.

Vaidehi Ashram
Accommodating 104 girls.

Schooling at Saraswathi Sishu Mandir High School.

84 residing at this home only.

M.Tech. - 2, M.B.A. -1, B.Tech. - 1, Graduation - 7,


Polytechnic - 4, Inter - 5.

Apart from formal education they are taught fine arts like
music, painting, Dance, Handicrafts, tailoring, embroidery
and screen printing.

Vocational training in lamination, crafts, candle making,


painting, making of jute-bags, stitching and embroidery

self-defense imparted.

Achievements
Our Ashram girls won many prizes in various

competitions conducted by other


organizations.
National coloring competition-2012 P. Bhavani

got the 2nd prize and certificate in the


competition Kalabharathi (Child Art
Institute Aurangabad, Maharashtra).
Talent awards for differently abled K.Radhika

got 2nd prize in Essay writing, and team of 10


girls got 2nd prize in group dance in Talent
awards for differently abled conducted by
Pragathi Seva Trust and Yashoda
Foundation.
always stood top in all sports, games and

cultural events

Achievements
After Education
Doing jobs or became self employed.
Ashram Arranges Marriages to them.
Generally the bridegrooms and their families themselves

comes forward for relationship.


Committee will verify in all the possible ways, selects suitable

groom for her and performs their marriage.


Till now Ashram did 24 marriages.
Settled and leading decent life with their new families
They visit their non blood siblings of their mother home

(ashram) Regularly.
Now the Ashram has their grand children.

Achievements
4 of them are working as Teachers.
1 of them is now practicing as

ophthalmologist.
2 of them are doing Business.
2 of them are working as System Admin.
2 of them are settled in IT industry.
Remaining 13 are as the best Home Makers.
