Seven reasons why one should study in LUC Malaysia

New teaching techniques and methodology
Attractive courses with scope

About me
I have completed theoretical part of general MBA from Phoenix
College of Management Nepal affiliated under Lincoln University
College Malaysia.
I worked as a operation assistant in a commercial bank in Nepal.
I am the MBA batch topper with 3.78 CGPA.
As per course requirement I am here in Malaysia to do practical part of
MBA which is called internship of three months.

What brings me here (my expectation)

For International Exposure.
To understand the Malaysian business market.
To learn reasons behind the rapid economic growth of Malaysia.
To explore opportunity.
To broaden my knowledge.
To understand new culture.
And finally, Obviously to visit Malaysia and see its beauty.

My first encounter at LUC

We arrived here in Malaysia on 31st January 2015.
On February 2nd we had meeting with Dr. Abhijit Ghosh dean of
hospitality and management.
Discussed about what we do in our internship.
He introduce some people to assign us work in different department.
But dont know what went wrong, after 7/8 days of confusion and
dilemma.
Finally, along with my other 6 friends I was assigned to domestic
marketing department under marketing head Mr. Rino Razman.

What I found

Domestic
Marketing
Department

Institutional
Promotion
Department
Sales
Department

What I did there

Domestic marketing department collect all the information about
potential student through roadshow, education fair, carnivals, open day
and other secondary sources.
The one and only task I did there in this past 2 months is just data
entry.
Difference in language seems a bit problematic for us to carry other
marketing activities like conducting phone calls.

What I learned
Developed working habit.
Understand the working culture of Malaysia.
Learned about Malaysian people and culture.
Knowledge about the Business environment of Malaysia.
Build confidence level.
Time management.
Communication skills.

My concept about marketing

Good Marketing is not an accident but the result of careful planning
effort and execution. Marketing practices are continuously improved
and reformed in virtually all sectors, to increase chances of success.
Marketing is both an art and a science - there is a constant tension
between logical and rational side formulated and the intuitive creative
marketing.
Excellence in marketing but still rare and difficult.

What actually promotion need to do

To provide information
To increase demand
To differentiate the product
To accentuate the value of the product
To stabilize existing activity levels

CONCLUSION
1. What experienced > expectation = Delightful
2. What experienced = expectation = Satisfaction
3. What experienced < expectation =
Dissatisfaction
From my presentation one can guess where I fall.
