blockbuster

7. A wide release where the blockbuster is available to be
viewed in different countries.

KING KONG

1. A star of the show is chosen for King Kong was Jack Black.
They chose Jack Black as he is a well known actor and has
previously been in actor thriller movies.
2. The production budget was 120 million
3. The marketing budget was 140 million
4. Merchandise can be sold such as clothing, mugs and
costumes. As the main component of King Kong is the gorilla
there will be plenty of pictures of the gorilla on t shirts and mugs
and also there will be costumes produced so kids can look and
dress up like King Kong which is also attracting an audience..
5. As the age certificate for King Kong was 12a, the target
audience is 12 plus and roughly up to 80. it may be up to 80 as
King Kong is a remake so people who have seen the first one
which was in 1900s will want to see the remake.
6. The release date for King Kong was the 24 th July 2005.
7. King Kong was available to be watched in China, US, UK,
Australia and other countries.

SKULL ISLAND

Plot: Director and film enthusiast Charlie Hardwick (Brad


Pitt) and his film production crew go on a journey from
London to the ominous Skull Island to film a new action
movie. Accompanying him are playwright Gary Heckland
(Adrien Brody) and actress Ann Darrow (Eva Longoria),
who is kidnapped away by a savage army. The crew
encounters dinosaurs and other creatures as they race to
rescue Ann, while the actress forms a bond with the leader
of the army (George Clooney)

A fandom is a name given to a group of people who are very


interested in a certain film, band, TV shows or musical etc.
Fandoms carry out activities such as parades and make
account to express their joy over the group of people or
person they are interested in. for example there may be
loads of people interested in King Kong and carry out
different activties such as wearing clothes in relation to
King Kong, writing books, carrying out hobbies and making
spin offs.

FANZINE

A fanzine is a magazine which isn't a proper and


professional document and isn't officially published but is
made and produced by the fans of the particular thing they
are interested in. the fandom can meet up and discuss what
they want in their fanzine. Although the fanzine has no
financial benefits as they are sold free of charge they can
be exchanged for other fanzines.
