Asian architecture

COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
1. Understand the mutual reinforcement of culture and architecture
reflected in the thoughts of the times.
2. Gain sufficient insights in the history of human community with
special emphasis on the structures built in Asia.
3. Understand the contribution of the past architectures in the
development of high tech utilities and construction systems.
4. Relate history and theories of arts and architecture, technologies
and human sciences to ecology and sustainable development
5. Identify and classify structures for conservation and preservation
to value our historical structures

TWICE A WEEK: 7absences
LATE: 15mins before the start of the class period
EXCUSES: VALID REASON
Death of an immediate family member
Medical Issue: with Medical Certificate
University/ college/ department representation with
valid letter and on time (before the event).
All excuse letters must be supported by an Excuse
Letter Slip signed by the Deans Office and a letter from
the absentee signed by parent/guardian with a valid ID.
