History

Founded in 1987 by the late William Soeryadjaya (who also founded Astra
International ASII.JK). MPM was considered a key downstream business for Astra to
ensure efficient and prompt distribution of Honda motorcycles. In addition to
motorcycle distribution business
in East Java, a few other motorcycle parts
businesses were also added to MPM.
Today MPM has progressed to become a corporation with 7 primary operating
companies, projecting 2012 revenue of US$1.1 billion, and NPAT of US$44 million.

Saratoga Capital (the Firm) was founded in 1998 by Edwin Soeryadjaya and Sandiaga Uno. The Firm was initially set up
to manage the Founders' capital as well as funds raised through an informal network of private investors
