ecot3

Komatsu has been developing and manufacturing in house both the

construction vehicles and engines: equipment since 1931 and diesel
engines since 1935. Supported by such experience, the ecot3
technology was developed aiming for preservation of the Earth's
environment (Ecology) and the customer's productivity (Economy). What
makes us successful is our strong technological capabilities and power
that integrates them into efficient machinery.

Improvement in fuel economy (14/17)

Optimization of transmission control (Change of gearshift point

When the accelerator pedal is pressed down slightly, the gear can shift
up at a slow travel speed. As a result, the engine speed can be
maintained low, and a fuel efficient traveling is possible.
