 People use drugs to change the way the body

 Drugs create energy in the body

 Very dangerous for the body

ALCOHOL: An intoxicating drug.

 COCAINE: Most powerful stimulants found.

 HASHISH: Produced from secretions of

marijuana plant.

 HEROIN: Derived from morphine.

 Effect of drugs are extremely negative and
extensive.

 Cause of new health problems.

 Drugs are unnatural.

 Drugs are too poisonous.

 Marijuana and hashish can cause mild to severe
anxiety.

 Cocaine pose a high risk for addiction.

ABDUL WAHEED
 Present age: 44
 Started drugs at the age of 19 just for
the sake of fun.
 First drug taken was charas(powder).
Found it really good so continued taking
it daily.
 Used to get money from home but when
got caught by his mother then started
robbery.
 Gone to jail twice because of drugs.
 Used to get drugs from Peshawar (from
small drug industries)
 Besides taking charas he used to take
 Got immune to drugs in jail. Police officers used
to bring drugs for the criminals just for the sake
of money.

 Spent 25 years of his life taking drugs and the

effect of these drugs were as follows:

 Stammer
 Muscle cramps
 Used to vomit all the time.
 Stomach upset.
 Water poured out of nose all the time.
 Unconsciousness.
 Anxiety
 Loss of sleep.

 Thought of leaving the drugs at the age
of 44.
 Got admitted to PIMS in order to leave
drugs.
 Still under treatment.
 Doctors give painkillers for
detoxication.
 Is still being given several medicines to
make him leave all the drugs.
 The treatment has helped him a lot in
leaving the drugs.
 MESSAGE BY THE PATIENT: ALLAH is
great. We should stay pious and never
get into such habits and all the industries

 present age: 24
 Site engineer.
 Got admission in Preston University but
didn’t submit the fee and wasted it on
drugs.
 Started smoking in class 6th . Got
immune to more drugs like chars, heroine
etc in metric.
 Started for the sake of fun with friends
and eventually built the habit of taking
drugs.
 Taking drugs for the past nine years.
 Used to take money from elder brothers
to fulfill his desire for drugs.
 Started taking drugs just for a new
 Used to take chars, heroine, hash, drug
injections(diazepam and avil) and at
times alcohol as well.
EFFECTS OF
UNAVAILABILITY OF
DRUGS:
 Aggressiveness when drugs are not
available.
 No resistance or patience anymore.
 Constant shivering until drugs not
given.
 While after taking the drugs feels
relaxed.
 Nowadays under treatment in PIMS.
 Drips are injected 24 hours to stop the
body shivering.
 Being given different medicines to stop
vomiting, water from nose, anxiety etc.

MESSAGE FROM THE PATIENT:

 I want to leave them but find it very hard
since I am so used to it. I advise you all to
never get attracted to such things as they
are a mere damage to your life and its just a
pleasure for a short period of time. Drugs
only finishes a person and a drug addict has
no space in the society. I infact beg you ALL
to stay as far away from drugs as you can.
In the end I would
like to show you

addiction of
“DRUGS”…….!!!

Through our presentation we wanted to
convey the message not to get attracted
towards such stuff as it just ruins your
life. This message is specially for
teenagers who get indulged into such
practices and in the end ruin their lives. I
