UNDERSTANDING BUTLER SERVICE ATTENDANT

According to Ir. Endar Sugiarto, MM (2002: 119), Butler Service Attendant is the hotel
employees were able to provide a better service to guests at the Front Office,
Housekeeping and Food & Beverage.
Understanding Butler Service by Ir. Endar Sugiarto, MM (2003: 120),
is one of the areas of services or services that are required to provide
guest satisfaction.
According to Wikipedia (The Free encyclopedia), Butler is the A senior
manager of a formal or multi-staffed household, usually in charge of
only one residence. A butler typically has formal professional training
and experience in the field. A butler can be a live-in or live-out
employee. (Last modified on 06: 12,25Januari 2008).
Which can be interpreted, Butler in the western world and especially
in Britain and its former colonies score is the senior servant in a
household. This position has existed for hundred of years, but in the
modern sense of a butler in charge to food, drinks, utensils,
supervising other waiters, and sometimes perform other tasks. Other
terms for the butler is Butler administrators, staff manager, and head
of household staff

HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT
Housekeeping report to the office or room boy when seeing the
rooms were dirty.
