PATIENT REGISTRATION
Patient Registration:This form is used for Registering Patient in a general manner.
It consist of two type- 1.Inpatient 2.Outpatient.
In both the forms we have to register the details about patient like: name, age, sex, D.O.B, city, state,
blood group and symptoms. In OP registration we have to enter some extra details about doctor name,
doctor ID, department. For both the registration, unique ID will be generated.

IN PATIENT
The In-Patient module enables advance booking of Beds, Surgery & Other facilities in the
hospital. The System maintains status of Occupied & Vacant Beds in the hospital.
At the time of admission of a patient, all relevant details are accepted along with Booking
advance, Deposit and Admission Form or Slip required in the Patient Case Sheet File in the ward
will also be printed.
Every patient is automatically assigned a unique In-Patient admission No., which is used for
identifying the medicines and services utilized by the patients. Based on intimation from
concerned Nursing Station, it updates Bed status for Transfer or Discharge of a patient. Generate
Transfer and Discharge slips.

QMS FUNCTIONS
Patient Registration : A new patient should get registered before he can be given token.
Token Issuing : Token will be issued only to a registered patient and also option is given to take
print out of the token.
Patient Calling : Doctor can call a patient from the list of patients shown in his Hand Held Unit.
Patient List is categorized as waiting, treating, served. Patient called from the waiting list will be
shown on the Wafting hall displays where the new patients will be sitting while the patient called
from the treating list will be shown only on the door display waiting for his second call.
Nurse calling : Doctor can call a nurse from his Hand Held Unit .The name of the Doctor calling
the nurse will be displayed on the particular Nurse Station Display.
Reports : Over half a dozen of management reports can be generated such as Doctors
Login/Logout time, Doctors earnings for a month, Average number of patients treated by a doctor
for a month, Average waiting time of patient for a doctor etc which can be used to evaluate the
performance of the OPD department.
