Civil Engineering
The Civil Engineering programme is structured on a flexible
and diverse
system that allows you tochoose from a broad range of
courses to receive a
well-rounded education while maintaining highacademic
standards.
Students
take
the
common
engineering
courses
whichdeals with basic
concepts in mathematics, science and fundamental
engineering principles,
followed by a balanced-mix of core courses in the civil
engineering discipline.

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering
(CEE)offers higher degree programmes by research,
on a part-time and full-time basis. They are:
Master of Engineering (M.Eng.):
Minimum period of candidature is 12 months,
maximum is 36 months
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.):
Minimum period of candidature is 24 months,
maximum is 60 months
