HOW GOOD IS GOOD ENOUGH?

in our everyday lives (about

WHAT IS SIX SIGMA?


A statistical concept that measures a
process in terms of defects at the six
sigma level, there 3.4 defects per million
opportunities (DPMO).

performance for her lab. Is the lab process capable of

Process Capability Index, Cpk, is an index that measures
the potential for a process to generate defective
outputs relative to either upper or lower specifications.
