INTRODUCTION
Current complex socio-economic-political scenario makes entrepreneurship as
one of the main drivers of economic growth and competitiveness.
Effect of entrepreneurship is unanimously recognized on economic growth but
it largely depends on individual achievement and there is no written by-law on
how best to promote it.
To Foster entrepreneurship among young students it requires developing
practical and targeted strategies, based on industry conditions as per the
region.
As the in-charge of Entrepreneurship Development Cell of our college we
have laid down a 3- year action plan for creating budding entrepreneurs.

FIRST YEAR ACTION PLAN


12 9 Months

Enhancing the communication and inter-personal skills of the


students
Conduct communication skill enhancement sessions
Conduct personality development sessions
Conduct

presentations

their
entrepreneurship ideas
Identification of budding entrepreneurs

8 5 Months

Live Interactive session with Industry Entrepreneurs


Invite entrepreneurs from Industry starting from entry level to
established level
Enrich students with real life experience and entrepreneurship survival
mechanism
Explore areas with Industry and students on the possible
entrepreneurship ideas

4 1 Months

Identification of Potential Entrepreneurs


Conduct entrepreneurship awareness session
Hold interactive sessions with the students for various kinds of business
ventures
Create awareness among the students regarding viability of financing

SECOND YEAR ACTION PLAN


12 7Months

Interaction with Industrial community


Arranging students visit across various Industries for
experiencing production process.
Students in their visit will interact with senior management,
HR, Finance and admin to understand the company
operations
Face to Face interaction with company execs to boost
personality and confidence

6 1 Months

Coordinating with some Self Help Group (SHG) for


practical Exposure
Formation of Self Help Groups with common alignment
and goal
Acquaint students with SHG activities and provide Hands
on experience
Conducting detailed year long schedule of excursions in
places with history for SHG expansions
