The entire history of Chinese philosophy revolves around humanism

Humanism is a system of values and beliefs that is based on the idea

that people are basically good and that problems can be solved using
reason instead of religion.
In the 5th century B.C., Confucius in China started serious attempts at
raising multifarious philosophical problems. One of this problems is of
human being.
Unlike Gautama Buddhas and Lao Tzus beliefs on human beings,
Confucius asserts that though a human being is just a dot in the
universe, he lives in accordance with the natural law that governs and
guides the movements of all things.

Confucius
Means Kung-fu-tse or master kung
Born in what is now the province of Shantung of a noble
family.

He became married at 19, a teacher at 22, and settled in

Shantung after some years of teaching and travel

At 52, he was appointed as a governor of a province but

went exile after the neighbouring governor became
jealous of him.

Confucius wandered about 13 years then returned to his

native state at 69 and died 3 years later.

Confucius
Confucius laid no claim to being more than a man.
However, when he died he was revered almost as a
god.
Though Confucianism is called a religion, it is rather
a system of ethics or good conduct. He did not
teach about any god, rather his attention was
centered on making humanity better in this life.
He declined to discuss the question of immorality.
When he was asked about spiritual beings, he
remarked, If we cannot even know men, how can
we know spirits?

Confucianism
Is a Confucius-based teaching that laid emphasis on filial piety.
Filial Piety means honoring their parents memories after death.
For Confucius, being human is of two equally important and totally
indistinctive natures: the spiritual and the material.
The Analects of Confucius contains the gist of his teachings and is
worthy of study.

Confucianism
Confucius asserts that though a human being is just a dot in the
universe, he lives in accordance with the natural law that governs and
guides the movements of all things.
This natural law enjoins human beings to live righteously, to offend no
one, and to give each one his due.
The famous Golden Rule of Confucius, Treat others as you wish them
to treat you.

Confucianism
The Chinese cosmic conception is based on the assumption that all
that happens in the universe is a continuous whole like a chance of
natural consequence. All events in the universe follow a transitional
process due to the primeval pair, the yang and the yin.

Contrary to Buddhism that declares life is misery and pain,

Chinese philosophy looks upon this life as desirable.
