Selecting Teaching Media

In selecting media we have to consider 4 things, those
are:
a. Meaningfulness
b. Purposefulness
c. Appropriateness
d. Timeliness

The Implementation
Using

Song

and

Flashcard

are

the

interesting,

effective, and suitable media to attract young learner

attention in teaching learning process.

The Implementation
Song:
Most people have experience of remembering words
from song they have heard and songs are sometimes
used by language teacher with young children- Dr.
Katie O Very
Most children enjoy singing songs, and they can
often be a welcome change from the routine of
learning a foreign language. For the teacher, using
songs in the classroom can also be a nice break from
following a set curriculum. (Journal: Using songs
effectively to teach English to young learners)

The Implementation
Flashcard:
Gardner's research indicates that teachers should
aim to appeal to all the different learner types at
some point during the course. It is particularly
important to appeal to visual learners, as a very high
proportion of learners have this type of intelligence.
Flash cards can be bright and colorful and make a
real impact on visual learners. (Article: Using
