PANCREATITIS
CRNICA
DEFINICIN
Es un proceso inflamatorio contnuo del pncreas, en
donde el prnquima pancretico es sustituido por
tejido fibrotico, lo que se traduce en dolor y prdida
de la funcin del rgano.
Se presenta de dos formas.
1. PANCREATITIS AUTOINMUNE
2. PANCREATITIS DE LA HENDIDURA

ECOGRAFIA
Se puede apreciar calcificaciones (hasta en un
40%), que puede ser focal o difuso, dilatacin
ductal, pseudoquistes.

Hiperecogenicidad. - que anuncia cambios
fibrticos.

Hallazgos en complicaciones:
- pseudoquistes. (25% de los casos), trombosis: esplnica,
vms,porta

Hallazgos en complicaciones:
-IA
pseudoaneurismas.- Ocurren a la inflamacin crnica y
derrame en las estructuras arteriales y retroperitoneo
adyacentes.
con mayor frecuencia de la arteria esplnica, arterias
pancreaticoduodenales y gastroduodenales, y con menor
frecuencia de la arteria clica media.

La apariencia de la PC. en la RM se basa en los
cambios morfolgicos del parnquima y los
cambios ductales, y se puede dividir en hallazgos
tempranos o tardos.

Hipointensidad en T1.
Disminucin del realce de aspecto heterogneo,
con realce parenquimal tardio

Si dilatacin > 3 mm a los diez minutos Dx PC.
