 Psychology is a scientific study of


behavior and mental process. It attempts to
explain, predict modify and ultimately
improve the life of people and the world in
which they live.

 Achievement and aptitude tests :
 In these types of tests, a series of tasks
is presented to the person being evaluated,
and the person's responses are graded
according to carefully prescribed guidelines.
After the test is completed, the results can be
compiled and compared to the responses of a
norm group, usually composed of people at
the same age or grade level as the person
being evaluated.

traditionally focuses on the role played by
the main character in each story.

In the Rorschach, individuals are asked to describe in detail their
impressions of a series of inkblots. Scoring involves analysis of both
the structure and content of responses.
