OBJECTIVES:
At the end of six (6) sessions, the students will be able to:
1. define communication;
2. explain the nature and process of communication;
3. differentiate the various models of communication;
4. distinguish the unique feature(s ) of one communication process from
the other;
5. explains why there is a breakdown of communication;
6. use various strategies in order to avoid communication breakdown;
7. demonstrate sensitivity to the socio-cultural dimension of
communication situation with focus on:
a. culture
b. gender
c. age
d. social status
e. religion
