Discipline Guidelines

Campus School encourages cooperation and life skills

through the Responsive Classroom Model.

School Wide Positive Behavior Plan

Progressive Discipline

As a school of choicefour or more office referrals could

result in your child not being allowed to return for the
following school year.

The following behaviors will require administrative

attention: disrespect to teachers, cursing, fighting,
bullying, threats, theft, vandalism, gang related concerns,
and verbal or physical harassment.

Middle schools look closely at conduct when considering

admission. Optional schools typically require Es or Ss.

Attendance Policy
As

a school of choice, satisfactory attendance is a

requirement.
Please

submit a parent or doctors note within two

days of any absence; otherwise, they will be

unexcused. A doctors note is required after a
student is absent a total of 10 times.
No

more than 15 combined absences, early

dismissals, and/or tardies may be acquired during

the year.
Optional

middle schools and private schools look

very closely at attendance.

Dismissal

It is requested that students not be checked out between

2:45-3:00. Dismissal is at 3:00.
Early dismissals are documented on the report card.
Teachers are not available for conferences during
dismissal.
Parents are asked to wait in designated areas for
dismissal.
Please read and follow the drop-off and pick-up
procedures.
If you are picking up in the half-circle drive, please hang
your placard from the front passenger side visor (not from
the side of the car) and leave it in place until exiting the
half-circle drive.
If you are picking up at the Walker door exit, please do not
allow children to play on the walls, climb trees and
security poles, or run on the breezeway between Ball Hall
and Campus School.
