use them to call on students randomly-Please MAKE

Mini Lab: Toothpick experiment.

Procedures
When you enter the classroom
Take a Sci-Spot question and find your seat.
Write in planner, then take out notebook and

glue in Sci-Spot question.


Answer question. (You may use your notes, your
books, each other)
Be in your seat and ready for class to begin
when the music ends.

TOOTHPICK MINI LAB


1) Get five new dry wooden toothpicks.

2) Bend the toothpicks in the middle so they snap but are


still attached by a little piece of wood fragment.
3) Arrange the toothpicks on the paper plate so they are
roughly in the form of a star. Make
sure the pointed ends of each toothpick are pressed
together as close as possible. There should be a small circle
in the middle.
4) Add a small amount of water inside the medicine dropper.
5) Use the dropped to place about three drops of water in
