One of the mystifying

aspects of modern times is
that communication and
transportation
have shrunk the size of the
world.

In manila are found people of

different nationalities,
Chinese,Americans,French,

Germans, Arabs, and

Japanese,speaking
different languages and exhibiting
characteristics behavior-call them
aliens.

There are observable differences

such as physical apperances and
behavior.Some of these observable
differences are genetically linked,
others are purely cultural.
Even among Filipinos themselves are
differences in physical and cultural
aspects.

The Races of Mankind

The concept of race was first

developed in Western thought at the
end of the 18th century. It was part
of the scientific explosion where men
were classified, typed and sorted like
animals and plants. Race is used to
classify human beings into several
divisions based on distinguishable
physical characteristics.

To classify them,physical features

such as hair type, skin color, and
shape of the nose, lips, eyelids, and
body are used.
