Executive Summary
The factors that we identified as the key competitive advantage factors include Aircraft cost in
the financil domain which determine the type of aircraft to be used to ensure growth in the
longer run.In the safety segment to mitigate the risk of Terrorism we can choose less
treachorus aviation routes owing to the large number of recent accidents.In the operating
segment we identified flight-crew service and maintenance as the primary factor that ensure
customer satisfaction and increases the customer retention.In the pasenger satisfaction arena
we identified santiation as one of the major deciding factor because at the end of the trip what
matters to the consumer is the experience he had on the trip.So, as to gain a competitve
advantage the airline must consider hygiene and sanitation as key factors in this domain.
In the third party domain we should tie up with OTA and travel search engines to help us
promote our service.In the present day scenario OTA's are the major players and have more
than 70% share in travel bookings.Tieing up with Expedia, Priceline will help us build the
visibilty and increase passenegr load.Also, the international tavel booking is also increasing
through this websites which will help us to generate more profit.
