Tennis Ball Bounce

Hypothesis
If we drop a new tennis ball and an old tennis ball from the
same height, then the new tennis ball will bounce higher.

Conclusion
This experiment furthered our knowledge by showing us that new

tennis balls are more consistent. This helped us understand why it is


important to use new tennis balls when training and competing.
We would change the old tennis balls to be objectively old instead of
subjectively. Instead of just picking three balls that looked old, we
would hit three new balls against a wall 10,000 times each, for
example.
We would further explore this subject by seeing how the friction of the
ball would change over time.
