forces in an animation studio set that
sought to bring new life to the world of
animation. the nickname taking the

during the Second World War Ghibli
thinking well represent the winds of
change that would bring to the
industry.

A Takahata already
knew his works as:

A Miyazaki,
impossible not to
remember series

Founders of Studio
Ghibli

They had worked

together before but it
was when they met in
Ghibli that
we showed all the
magic they were able
to do.
a year after it had
been found they
amazed us with:

Castle in the Sky

(1986).

1988, it was an
iconic year for
the Ghibli
Studio because
the Grave of
the Fireflies
film had much
audience of all
age:

Grave of the Fireflies

(1988)

It was one of the

best animated films
in history.
in that same year,
Miyazaki thougth in a
new happy film,
tittled my neighbor
totoro:

My Neighbor Totoro
(1988).

After 4 years of
success, Ghibli
Studio did not
have still a logo.
So Miyazaki
proposed, in spite
of discreet success
of the film, that
the good Totoro
will be the emblem
and mascot of the

logo Studio Ghibli

After that came Nicky, the

apprentice witch (1989).

Only Yesterday (1991)

Porco rosso (1992)

I can hear the sea (1993)

Pompoko (1994)

Whisper of the Heart

(1995)

The Princess Mononoke

(1997)

After this great

success Miyazaki
came with the
news that retired
and left the office
of Ghibli Takahata.
Which he brought
his latest film:

My Neighbors the Yamada

(1999)

But the geniuses do

not rest and Miyazaki
did not feel well his
retirement or
perhaps he felt too
well. After 4 years,
he came back and
brought us one of
the most original
films in history:

Spirited Away (2001)

The Cat Returns (2002)

It took two years for the next play to

give light Miyazaki
Howl's Moving Castle (2004)

Tales from Earthsea

(2006)

Ponyo (2008)

Arrietty (2010)

From Up on Poppy Hill (2011)

The wind rises (2013)

The story of Princess Kaguya

(2013)

The memory of Marnie

(2014)

After this last film

Studio Ghibli
section closes its
animated features,
it is futile to focus
more to redesign
the entire creative
staff and put one
for each feature.
