Bharti Infratel provides tower and also the

Apart from this it is one of the largest tower
infrastructure providers in India.
Bharti Infratel Limited has its Head-Office located
at Gurgaon, Haryana

Business Divisions
In the Mid 90s and the early 2000s Infratel was a
function within Airtel and was responsible for the
management of tower infrastructure of the
wireless business of Airtel.
Till the Mid 2000s Airtel was the ruling telecom
operator, but soon more players entered the race
which further reduced ARPUs.
In July 2007, Bharti Infratel was created as an
independent tower company.

Business strategies
In November 2007, Indus Towers was created as a
Joint Venture between Vodafone, Bharti Infratel
and Aditya Birla Telecom
Infratel has 42% stake in Indus towers.
