There are three reasons why we are required to master this language, namely;
1. Factors Geographical be the first reason why Indonesia needs to learn
English. Indonesia is surrounded by countries that most residents use English
as a first or second language.
2. English should be studied extensively for its use as a language of
communication International. In order to communicate with people of
different cultural backgrounds and statehood, English has become the main
option that is often used in communication.
3. The information contained in this world mostly use English as the language
of publication.

1. Teaching Methods Applied Some teaching methods are recommended to be applied on English
language learning as follows: method of language learning are arranged in coordination
(command), speech (speech) and motion (action) and trying to teach the language through
physical activity.
2. Type of Learning Activity Used Kids:
activities to learn about the sign (Signal Learning)
learning activities through stimulus and response (Stimulus Response Learning)
the learning activities through a series of (Chaining Learning)
learning activities through the Association of Oral (Verbal Learning Association)
the learning activities with multiple difference (Multiple Discrimination Learning)

STAGES IN LEARNING ENGLISH

Listening: Besides heard us speaking children can also learn how to read to hear the story in
English, chanting simple or by watching DVDs and VCDs in English. But for the beginning of
knowledge, select the words few and simple.
Speaking: Once the child is often heard in English, children can be encouraged to speak in
simple sentences. Apply 30 minutes a day as a family to speak in English. The withdrawal of
children under five who are just starting to talk, children also start speaking in English only one
word for example car (car) when you want a toy car. Then develop into short sentences, like I
want the car.
Reading: Learning to read should also be in accordance with the context. This method is more
emphasis on the meaning of a word. For example, when seeing the word cat (cat) child
immediately told that it read "ket" and it means the cat.
Writing: Start with writing a single word, then one short sentence, and then one long sentence,
then a paragraph and so on. Maybe later without you realizing suddenly the child is able to
write a book in English.

Giving Guidance Guidance: is meant here is not tutoring, but parental
guidance to children. Parents are the closest to the child, parental guidance
given will greatly affect the child.
Provision of Amenities In learning English, learning facilities are also needed.
By using the facility, the child will be easier to master the English language.
Reward and Praise Reward and praise is a motivational tool that can make the
guidelines for children to learn better and enterprising. Children will be
encouraged to fight hard to learn if parents promised a reward to them.
