1.1 INTRODUCTION

1.2 BACKGROUND OF THE

we are surveying the most famous fast food chains in Malaysia which are the MacDonalds
,Kentucky fried chicken (KFC), and Pizza Hut. fast food chains tend to grow because, consumers
want to request fast food because of its accommodation and quick serving of nourishments
McDonalds was established by two siblings, Richard and Maurice McDonald in 1937 in California.
This biggest worldwide fast food fastened touched base in Malaysia 43 years after the fact in
December 1980. McDonald Corp. gave their permit to Golden Arches Sdn Bhd to open
McDonald's Restaurant in Malaysia.
KFC eatery was opened in 1973 on Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Today there are more than 500

1.3 PROBLEM STATEMENT


The turnover Intention has gotten extensive consideration in the writing. There is
a considerable measure issue that turns out respected the execution of the fast
food restaurants especially the turnover intention rates that keeps increasing
recently among the staffs.
The reason for this matter cannot be identified, so we were given a task to
investigate this issue and do a research under the supervision of our lecture.
There are six factors that have been taken into consideration, which is the job
security, supervisor support, compensation, job autonomy, goal
attainment, job satisfaction whether there is a significant relationship
between these two variables (independent variables: Job security, supervisor
support, compensation, job autonomy, goal attainment, job satisfaction, as for
Dependent variable: Turnover intention.

1.4 RESEARCH OBJECTIVE


The broadly useful of this exploration is to examine the turnover aim of
representatives and the particular object is to distinguish the impact of job
security, supervisor support, compensation, Job autonomy, Goal attainment,
Job satisfaction on Turnover intention of the fast food chain staffs.
This study is intended to accomplish the accompanying reason:
1. To agree the employment satisfactory that impacting the turnover
expectation
2. To decide the supervisor supports that impacting the turnover goal
3. To decide the factor that affecting the turnover goal

This research aims to answer the following research question:
I. Is there any relationship between job security and turnover intention?
II. Is there any relationship between supervisor support and turnover
intention?
III. Is there any relationship between compensation and turnover
intention?
IV. Is there any relationship between job autonomy and turnover
intention?
V. Is there any relationship between goal attainment and turnover
intention?
VI.Is there any relationship between job satisfaction and turnover
intention?

1.6 JUSTIFICATION FOR THE


RESEARCH
The building up of hypothetical structure has
unmistakably demonstrated the needy variable and
autonomous variables.
H1: There is a significant relationship between
employment satisfaction and turnover aim.
H2: There is a significant relationship between
supervisor support and turnover aim.
H3: There is a significant relationship between
compensation and turnover intention.

1.7 SCOPE OF RESEARCH


The main purpose of conducting this research is to investigate the factor
influencing turnover, which are job security, supervisor support, and
compensation.
Job autonomy, Goal attainment, Job satisfaction in fast food chain
restaurants, All those factors have important roles in reducing turnover
intention of the employee.
Furthermore, this exploration can help in better comprehension of which
components are connected with high and low turnover goal among the
workers through the aftereffects of the study appeared in this
examination.
Therefore, this can discover some proper answer for resolution this
issue. Besides, this examination is useful particularly for top
administration.

The review on existing literature and related theoretic models will be

Chapter 3: Research Methodology
In this chapter, researchers are explaining how the research was conducted
by using data collection methods, research plan, operational description of
constructs, sampling design, measurement scales, and methods of data
analysis. SPSS software is used to analyze the data and summarized result
of the data analysis.

In chapter 4, it consists of the research results which
produce from the survey. The survey was completed
through the questionnaire.
Chapter 5: Discussion and Conclusion
Chapter 5 has validated the research result. This also
involves the thoughts and recommendation.

1.9 CONCLUSION
In this chapter 1, we have described introduction of the topic and
background of the research study visibly. Then, the research
problems are identified in this chapter. We also have clarified the
purpose for this research study to be conducted. Next, the
research question and research objectives are designed during
this research study has conducted. Both of these are vital
because they contribute a perfect way to complete the whole
research report. Last but not least, the researchers have made
research hypothesis follow by the important of the study. The
concluding part of this chapter was presenting by chapter layout
which summarize each chapter.
