investment by China announced yet
and the corridor is expected to be
operational within three years and will
be strategic game changer in the
region which would go a long way in
making Pakistan a richer and stronger

Corridor (CPEC)is a collection of
projects currently under construction
at a cost of $46billion. ToRapidly
expand and upgrade Pakistani
infrastructure as well as deepen and
broaden economic links between
theIslamic Republic of Pakistan and
thePeople's Republic of China

Major projects under the Corridor Umbrella are:

Gawadar Port,
Upgrading of Karachi to Peshawar main line
Khunjerab Railway

as is the construction of
one of the world's largest solar energy plants.
