Review of Literature

In this research used Goodman theory (1967:135):

Bottom-Up is meant to be a process the students reading
text, then sentences in order to get the meaning of the text
and the students answers the questions from the text.
Top-Down is model of the reading process offers an
alternative understanding of the process of reading,
asserting that the reader uses the information provided by
the text. The readers focus of attention is less on every
detail of the printed matter and more on the larger
conceptual context. In this way, the reader gains an
understanding of the intent of the whole text and is able to
predict what will come next.
