The fauna is the set of animal species that inhabit a
geographic region that are characteristic of a
geological period or that can be found in a given
ecosystem; It depends both on abiotic factors and
biotic factors are often sensitive to disturbances
altering their habitat; therefore, a change in an
ecosystem fauna indicates an alteration in one or
more of the factors of this.
Wildlife is one of the basic renewable natural
resources, along with water, air, soil and vegetation
