GeneralFrequencyConsiderations

Frequencyresponseofanamplifierreferstothefrequencyrangeinwhichtheamplifier
willoperatewithnegligibleeffectsfromcapacitorsandcapacitanceindevices.
Thisrangeoffrequenciescanbecalledthemidrange.
Atfrequenciesaboveandbelowthemidrange,capacitanceandanyinductancewillaffect
thegainoftheamplifier.
Atlowfrequenciesthecouplingandbypasscapacitorswilllowerthegain.
Athighfrequenciesstraycapacitancesassociatedwiththeactivedevicewilllowerthe
gain.
Alsocascadingamplifierswilllimitthegainathighandlowfrequencies.
