COMPANY PROFILE

Tundla is the part of NCR railway.

It control all the train starting from GZB (Gaziabad) to
MGS (Mugalsaria).
Tundla has a CONTROL BOARD.
It covers 1029 km track distance starting from GZB to
MGS.

SIGNAL AND TELECOMMUNICATION

SUB DEPARTMENT:

S&T is abbreviation of SIGNALING &

TELECOMMUNICATION department. S&T is the
backbone of railway and without it train cannot
run single feet on the track. S&T department
consist different sub department which is given
below.
Control room ( In which train has been controlled)
Exchange room
Test room (used for testing the line)
VDRU(voice data recording unit)

CONTROL ROOM

CONTROL ROOM is playing very important role

for train. Without information of the control
room train cant move from one place to another
place. Every instant the train follow control
room information.
In Indian railway CONTROL ROOM handle hundred
station and one of them, one station is in middle
which control all the hundred station.

This is a device use for

recording the
conversations. Example
it records the
conversation between
train driver and station
master , for future use
or as a prove if any use
of it is required. Helps
in finding the faults
happened.

elements. The
construction of a fiber
optic cable consists of
a core, cladding,
coating buffer,
strength member and
outer jacket.
Optical source uses in
railway 1310nm and
other is 1550nm

In communication transmission
systems, mux (pronounce muks,
sometimes spelled "MUX") is
an abbreviation for
multiplexing, a device that
sends multiple signals on a
carrier channel at the same time
in the form of a single, complex
signal to another device that
recovers the separate signals at
the receiving end. The receiver
is sometimes called ademux (or
"DEMUX").

And Telecommunication
department at NCR Tundla.
According to some people
railway is just consider as
stations having arrivals and
departures of train, train
which is drived by the loco
driver thats it but railway is
very large industry and it has
many departments like:
