AGENCY MISSION:

This mission Statement of the agency is to provide

progressive, professional services that promote selfsufficiency and enhance the quality of life for all
citizens.
Note: The mission of the Office of child Support is to
help children in absent parent families obtain the
financial support to which they are entitled. Child
support enforcement services are available to anyone
who wants or needs help in collecting child support.

Adult protective services, evaluates the

need of protection when a disabled adult is
alleged to be abused, neglected, or
exploited.

disproportionate
numbers who contribute
to our county. As dated
on June 15, 2012 over
380 referrals were made
to the Robeson County
Department of Social
Services for evaluation of
mistreatment of disabled
and elderly adults
(Robeson County, 2012).
