Presidential Agrarian Reform Council


(PARC)
The PARC is the highest policy and
decision-making body for agrarian reform
matters and disputes.
Consists of 12 Departments
Sectoral Representatives

Functions of the
PARC

The PARC shall formulate and/or implement


the policies, rules and regulations necessary
to implement each component of the CARP,
and may authorize any of its members to
formulate rules and regulations concerning
aspects of agrarian reform falling within their
area of responsibility. (EO 229)

FUNCTIONS OF THE PARC


Per RA 6657 as amended
Shall provide Implementing Rules for the Land
Acquisition and Distribution Program. (Section 7, RA
6657)

Shall decide on meritorious cases pertaining to the


award of land to qualified beneficiaries. (Section 25,
RA 6657)

Shall determine the land amortization of


beneficiaries. (Section 26, RA 6657)

FUNCTIONS OF THE PARC


Per RA 6657 as amended

4. Ensures the provision of support services to


FBs such as land Surveying and Titling. (Section
37-A, RA 6657)

5. Provides the affected landowner with


investment information/assistance and other
services to productively utilize the proceeds
of the sale of such lands. (Section 38, RA 6657)

monitor the implementation of the
CARP in the province. It shall provide
information on the provisions of the
CARP, guidelines issued by the PARC
and on the progress of the CARP in
the province
