Examenul Extraoral

Forma capului
Privirea craniului de sus si posterior pozitionat in
spatele pacientului.
Dupa raportul intre latimea si
lungimea maxima a craniului se
disting 3 tipuri: dolico-, mezo-,
brahicefal.

Forma craniului coreleaza cu

forma faciala si a arcadelor
dentare !!!

Simetria faciala
Pacientul este privit en face.
Fata se imparte in 5 portiuni,
fiecarei ii revine cite 1/5 din
suprafata. O portiune e egala in
latime cu cea a fantei
palpebrale.

Cele mai frecvente asimetrii se vor localiza in

etajul inferior al fetei datorat de deviatii
mentoniere.

Comparatia etajelor faciale

Pacientul este privit en face.
Fata se imparte in 3 portiuni,
fiecarei ii revine cite 1/3 din
inaltime. Liniile se vor trasa prin
1.trichion, 2.ophrion,
3.subnasalis, 4.gnathion.

In ortodontie interes se acorda treimilor

inferioare, pe primul loc si treimii mijlocii, pe al
doilea loc. Dereglarile de ocluzie se reflecta
1/3 asupra inaltimii inferioare.

Comparatia etajelor faciale

Pacientul este privit en face si din profil.

Se observa simetria,
dimensiunea, tipul.

Raportul buzelor si estetica zimbetului

Se atesta 3 situatii al contactului buzelor in repaos

Buzele contacteaza
Buzele nu contacteaza, dar e o situatie in norma si nu necesita forta musculara
importanta pentru a le uni.
Buzele nu contacteaza si necesita o forta musculara importanta de a le contacta.

Estetica zimbetului
Repaos

In norma in timpul zimbetului se vede 50-100 % din

suprafata dintilor frontali.
