Most nouns have the same form for masculine and feminine
PLURALS
With ending o, or, ss, sh, ch, or x form their plural by adding es.
The plural of a
noun is usually
made by
adding s to
the singular.
Example :
dogs, days,
houses, truths.
With ending y following a consonant form, drop the y and add ies.

A few names of fish or animals do not change in the plural
Sheep, deer, salmon, trout, fish, grouse.

THE PLURAL OF CHILD IS CHILDREN.
POSSESSIVE NOUNS

s (apostrophe-s) is used with singular noun and plural nouns not ending in s.
Toms book ; the boys room ; the mans hat ; the mens hat.
Note : you can form the possessive case of a singular noun ending in s, by adding an apostrophe () alone or by
adding an apostrophe and s. Example : the buss seats are comfortable ; the bus seats are comfortable.
