Classroom News
Just as I have shared in previous
newsletters, this week I was again so
incredibly impressed with the students
hard work and dedication. In Grammar
the students learned about subjects and
predicates. In Writing the students
began their opinion writing assignment.
The students had the ability to choose
their topic and now they are learning
how to provide three reasons and
evidence or examples to support their
claims. In Math the students focused on
liquid capacity this week. The students
are learning about milliliters and liters.
In Reading and Social Studies the
students are working on a cross
curricular final project as the Native
American Tribe Unit is coming to a
close. The students are doing a great
job showing their learning in a multitude
of ways both in group assignments and
in any individual assignment.
Additionally, the students who
participated in the play did a fantastic
job! I am looking forward to another
great week!
Sincerely,

Ms. Ward
