All SPS students will succeed
regardless of:

Etc.

Federal Requirements
Scottsbluff students will test all three subject in
grades 11, 5 and 8. Other testing aligned with
federal requirements below:
Reading/Language
Arts
Grades 3-8 (all)
High School (once)

Mathematics
Grades 3-8 (all)
High School
(once)

Science
Grades 3-5 (once)
Grades 6-9 (once)
Grades 10-12 (once)

Nebraska State Requirements


Scottsbluff students will test all three subject in
grades 11, 5 and 8, and test language arts and math
in grades 3-8 following the state requirements
below:

Reliability
Testing will consider two types of reliability:

1. Alternate form reliability


Reliability between alternate forms
Correlation coefficient r=0.8 - 0.9 or higher

2. Internal consistency reliability


Reliability within questions

Absence of Bias
Judgmental review practiced on all
assessments to remove any bias
Parameters or review board:
Judges from a variety of backgrounds
Equal number males and females
Each question reviewed for bias
Questions removed if found bias
