Simple Future Tense


Definition
We use the simple future tense for
actions that will happen in the future.
How we use it depends on how we
view the events are going to happen.
The following show the different tense
used to express the completion of an
activity in the future

Simple Future has two different forms in


English:
"will" and "be going to." Although the two
forms
can
sometimes
be
used
interchangeably, they often express two
very different meanings. These different
meanings might seem too abstract at first,
but with time and practice, the differences
will become clear. Both "will" and "be going
to" refer to a specific time in the future.

We use the future continuous tense
to talk about things that have been
planned or likely to happen
This tense used to describe an event
or action that will occure over a
period of time at a spesific point in
the future

Functions
Used to project ourselves into the future
Used for predicting or guessing about future
events
In the interogative form can be used to ask
politely for information about the future
Can be used to refer to continuous events that
we expect to happen in the future
When combined with still, to the future
continuous refers to event that are already
happening now and that be expected to
continue sometime into the future
