Adding VSG

To add Video Streaming Gateway:

Right the Pool icon
Select the Add Video Streaming
Gateway submenu

Enter the VSG Instance Name

Enter the IP Address
Port number indicates the VSG
worker instance
Starts with 8756 and must be
increased per instance

Configuring VSG
To add devices to the VSG right click the VSG instance you want to add a
devices to:
Select the Add Encoder /camera sub menu
Select the type of device you want to add

Adding a BOSCH Device

Type can be scanned or chosen
from drop down menu
Credentials are checked automatically
once the IP is entered
UDP/TCP for recording stream

Note: Live and Recorded Stream is always Stream 1

PTZ functionality and prepositions are supported,
and device relays and contacts are automatically
scanned into the system

Device must have ONVIF Conformant
Firmware Installed
Time Synchronization is Critical!
Enter the Name
Enter the IP Address
Enter the User credentials

Currently when working with RTSP and JPEG devices:
No stream configuration possible
No PTZ Control or prepositions
Live stream is supplied via VSG only

VSG Decoder Support

VSG added Bosch, ONVIF, JPEG, and RTSP devices can be displayed on
Analog Monitor Groups and Digital Monitor Walls
VIP XD HD: Firmware 1.8.0 or higher
VJD 7000: Firmware 54.8.0 or higher
Digital Monitor Wall video retrieval must be from VSG (Workstation
Setting)
